PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing our company's supply of products and services. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments to determine their procurement needs, identify potential suppliers, negotiate purchase agreements, and ensure timely deliveries.

What You’ll Do
-
Maintain supplier relationships; resolve supplier issues and disputes promptly.

Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of purchases, cost, credit card reconciliation and other important data using procurement software.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement of goods and services.

Communicate regularly with suppliers via phone and email; follow up on outstanding orders and expedite deliveries as necessary.

Collaborate with operations team to ensure proper storage and timely delivery of products.
Procurement agent for our facility:
-
Fulfilling approved purchase requests.
-
Direct vendor interface.
-
Pricing and part availability research.
-
Ensuring tracking/delivery.
-
Providing same day procurement support, from localized suppliers and vendors.

Complete and process necessary documents - SSJs, PO Request Forms, New Vendor Setup Forms, vendor Quotes, etc.

Reconcile all Invoicing / Purchasing.
Logistics support:
-
Providing overall logistics, supporting all projects at the facility – relocation of hardware, parts, robotics, consumables, hazardous material, work surfaces, furniture, containers, shipping hardware, etc.

Assist in the local logistics support, pickup/drop-off of hardware and parts to local industrial service providers.

Service provider interface, working directly with vendors and service providers.

Ability to work safely and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Perform other duties assigned by management.
Who You are

US Citizen or Approved to work in the U.S.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar procurement role.

Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems.

Strong negotiation and networking skills.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
-
Good communication skills and the desire to work in a team environment is a must.

Show a strong initiative to succeed.

Qualify for fitness of duty on all work sites including, but not necessarily limited to, passing both drug tests and background checks.

Able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

Able to work on feet for extended periods of time.

Able to walk and move about the Center to work with team members.
